Funny problems of Google Phone

Wednesday, March 21st, 2007 |

Thinking about the possible features of the Google Phone (G-Phone) I also thougth about some funny problems could come with it:

  • When you will look for a name in you address book you will always see ads before it.
  • If your phone is turned off it might redirect people calling you to an advertiser.
  • Everybody will try to be the first one in your address book.
  • Google will always know where you are so it can give you better geo-targeted ads.
  • It will be always really difficult to call the exact person you are looking for.
  • Your position in the address book will determined by an algorithm based on how many people has your number in the address book and how important they are.
  • People will pay Google to be in your address book.
