iPhone update coming soon…

Written on August 7, 2007 – 4:22 pm | by Dave |

Today Apple introduced a restyled version of the iMac and new version of some of their applications (iWork ‘08 and iLife ‘08).

Another thing really cool they introduced today is the possibility of sending to your .Mac account (your cause I don’t have one… yet) all the pictures you make with your iPhone. This feature will be available for .Mac in a week, but because our iPhones don’t have this feature right now it also mean that there will be another update (maybe 1.1.0?) within a week. When I tried today the only update available was for Front Row to make it compatible with the new iPhoto ‘08.

Of course we all hope that with this update more feature could come, like iChat…

By the way, I noticed that with the new version of iChat 4.0 on Leopard will be easier to send SMS to cell phones but I really hope that Apple will give us a better (and cheaper) way to chat with our iPhriends….

Update:
WOW! That was fast… if you have a .Mac account you can already use this new function for the iPhone. So… no major upgrades… for now…
